Postgraduate Students
Postgraduate students who wish to stay at Desasiswa Jaya Lembaran Utama can email
Room selection is based on current availability. New students applying for accommodation will be placed according to availability as deemed appropriate by the administration.
Accommodation registration for male students can be made at the HAC Satellite Office located in Desasiswa Utama, while registration for female students can be made at the HAC Office located on Level 1, Cafeteria Lembaran.
HAC office hours are from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), from 8.10 a.m. to 5.10 p.m. Students are advised to register during office hours.
The room rate for male students is RM5.00/day for a Double Room, while the room rate for female students is RM5.00/day for a Double Room and RM6.00/day for a Single Room.

Accommodation will be provided if there are still vacancies in the hostel. The non-student rate is RM20/day for a Double Room and RM40/day for a Single Room.
The postgraduate male student accommodation is based on a 3-room apartment concept, and there are 2 beds in each room with an attached bathroom. Each student is provided with a bed, study desk, chair, and ceiling fan. Each apartment also includes a living room, utility room, and sink.
Facilities in the hostel include a Laundry Room, Discussion Room, Pantry, Mini Gym, Hangout Space, Surau, and Futsal Court.
Accommodation for female postgraduate students is based on a dormitory concept. Each room has a bed, study table, chair, ceiling fan, and a comfortable space. Facilities in the female dormitory include a Laundry Room, Lounge, Study Room, Pantry, Hangout Space, and a Prayer Hall.
According to Universiti Sains Malaysia (Desasiswa) Rules 2021, electrical equipment such as laptops, printers, water heaters, and mobile phone chargers are allowed, but other electrical equipment is prohibited.
There are refrigerators, induction cookers, and microwaves provided in the pantry for heating food and drinks. However, students are not allowed to cook in their rooms, especially using an open flame, to avoid short circuits or fire hazards in the dormitory.
Referring to the Universiti Sains Malaysia (Desasiswa) Rules 2021, students who violate this rule will be fined RM50.
Undergraduate Students
First-year students are automatically provided with accommodation at Desasiswa. If they choose to stay off-campus, students must inform the HAC Office in writing. However, during Minggu Siswa Lestari, first-year students are required to stay at Desasiswa to ensure attendance throughout the orientation period.
Students need to inform the HAC Office in writing, and the room key must be returned to the HAC Office as soon as possible. Students must also ensure that the room is left clean and in good condition.
